Matthew
Even before Matthew was born I knew that it was very important to me to have some professional shots done when he was little as the time goes so fast.
We booked Matthew in for his photos when he was just 3 weeks old as we wanted to ensure we got the newborn look. As a first time mum this was a very stressful time for me. When we arrived at the studio I was immediately impressed by the service. The photographer sat myself and my husband down and explained exactly what they would be doing and ensured he understood exactly what type of shots we were looking for.
The area that impressed me most was that there was no rushing. They made it clear from the start that they were not going to rush the shoot and we could take as long as we needed. While they were taking the photos the room was heated so Matthew would not get cold and they played lullaby music to keep Matthew relaxed (and mum as well!!).
Bubs In Character advised me that our photos would be available on their website, when I first looked at the photos I was amazed. The shots looked so natural and picked up Matthew's different moods and looks.
I loved the fact that I could choose when I had time to look at the photos and make a decision. As a new mum time was a luxury and being able to look at the photos and make decisions at night when Matthew was in bed took away any stress.
Bubs In Character have obviously put a lot of thought into the needs of new parents as I never felt stressed or rushed at anytime.
Madison
I was very impressed with the way Bubs In Character were able to capture Madison's happy, playful nature at this age. The ability to view the images online in my own time, and allow interstate relatives to do likewise, is a fantastic service which avoids pressured decision making.
Sophie
We chose Bubs In Character for their unique way of presenting beautiful images of your baby as they develop and grow in their first year of life.
We have had photos of our little Sophie taken at birth, 6 months and 1 year and each time they capture exactly her personality and development.
We are always so excited to get home and view our images online and share them with our family straight away! The only problem we have is picking the ones we love as they are all fantastic!
Lachlan
When we saw the photos of Lachlan at three weeks old, we knew that Paul had captured a perfect moment in time. The care he took to ensure that a new baby (and a new mum and dad!) were comfortable, not rushed, and at ease made all the difference. Paul was able to capture Lachlan’s many expressions to create memories that we will treasure forever.
Consequently, our expectations were very high on our return at seven months old. We were made welcome with a fun, no pressure atmosphere, and the rapport that Paul was able to achieve with Lachlan delivered adorable photos that brought out his personality and his beautiful blue eyes (I may be a little biased!).
We knew when we returned for our third shoot (by now Lachlan was running around) that the photos would be fantastic, and they were. Paul captured the wonder and curiosity of a morning at the park, and at the same time created images that will remind us forever of the transition from baby to toddler.
Paul did more than take a photo – he created a beautiful story. His love of children is evident in his work, and we will be back to record more of Lachlan’s milestones.
